new laptop:)
10.14.08
It was my 18th birthday today, I didn't expect anything because I know that, this day would be just an ordinary day. I woke up around 9.15 am, by my surprised aunt Tita, gave me her present and I was so happy at the same time I feel strange. I dunno why I feel strange at my very special day, suddenly I realized that I miss HIM, and apparently thats make me lonely. As the day goes by, people started greeting me and some of my friends gave me gifts like nanai(my nanay), tinapay and my 2 parents. This day might not be so extravagant like what others expect it to be but for me as the birthday celebrant, I really feel glad that I have this people whom I can count on and be with regardless of my my childish attitude and my tantrums. I thanked God for everything.
PS:
I got my own laptop now. =)

newest gadgets! i was amazed with this:)
Let’s be honest with ourselves. Not every golf player is lucky enough to join a fancy country club. The kind where chauffeurs are sent to fetch your every whim. You want a diet soda? You’ve got it! You want some hard lemonade? No problem! The vast majority of us need to play on public courses. The kind where getting to the 18th hole means dodging across the highway which intersects the course.
By the time you get far enough away from the club house, there is just no way you’re going to want to make the hike back and forth between the beverage counter and your hole. Yet most golf courses ban players to bring any outside beverages onto the course. Luckily, The Designated Driver Kooler Klub from After 5 Catalog has us covered.
The stealthy Kooler Klub allows us to bring 54 ounces of your favorite refreshment, hot or cold, right onto the course, slyly hidden within a seemingly regulation driver club. With the press of a button located on top of the Kooler’s head, the club dispenses your beverage right into your lucky mug. The Klub includes four AA batteries, and the head is easily detachable for a quick cleaning.
So this is a pretty cool gift for the thrifty golfer. Drinks are expensive at the course, and the sun is hot on our balding skulls. You can grab your own Designated Driver Kooler Klub for $119 from After 5 Catalog. Your cheap Uncle Chuck will be utterly thankful.

Are you a gadget addict? Tips in buying new gadgets:)
1. Look at the general appearance of the merchandise. It should look good, especially if you think that the price the seller is asking for is a bit high.
2. Looks can be deceiving. Test out the merchandise in question. Make sure that it still does what it was designed to do. If possible, “burn it in” and no, it doesn’t mean that you need to put it in an oven for testing. It simply means that you should test it for a long period of time (not just for a few minutes). It should still work even if it is left running for a few hours.
3. Check for completeness. Most, if not all, bundled accessories and peripherals should be included with the merchandise. Stolen gadgets are often sold as “unit only” and buying them will make you liable under the Anti-fencing law.
4. Buy from reputable sellers and if possible, someone you personally know. Should anything goes very wrong with your purchase, you should be able to easily get in touch the seller.
5. And lastly, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Make sure that you know what you are getting into when buying pre-owned gadgets. Make sure that you really need it and there is a need for it. Look at the price. If the price of the pre-owned item is not too far off the price of a brand new one, save up and get the brand new stuff!
These are just a few tips. I will follow this entry up with particular things to look for when buying specific gadgets. Till then, happy shopping and don’t spend that bonus in one big splurge!

newest gizmodo of 2008
Yet makers of gizmos and gadgets are looking into fresh ways to make geeky consumers get excited about their products. They are increasingly incorporating unusual, wacky and maybe even fun ideas into their gadgets.
Let’s have a look at some interesting ideas:
The Jelly Click inflatable mouse (pictured above) is a godsend for travelers who have to pack tons of gadgetry into their luggage and gadget bags. Save yourself that extra bit of space for your beloved iPod by flattening the Jelly Click before stuffing it into your bag. Just remember to inflate it up for use later.
Fancy an USB-powered massage while at work? The USB Far Infra-Red Pad is powered from a spare USB port, and it claims to emit infrared light onto your arms, back or biceps to remove the weariness and leave you revitalized after a long day at the computer desk. Compact and lightweight, you can get it from US$21.99.
Another USB-inspired idea, the USB calculator mouse might prove useful for all you business executives who are always poring over spreadsheets and crunching numbers. It’s a useful device for laptop users especially who don’t have a user-friendly keypad. Priced at £14.95, this integrated calculator mouse shows you the results of your calculations instantly without having to run additional apps to crunch your numbers.
The next idea is somewhat ridiculous, but Hello Kitty’s fans could be interested in it. The USB Kitty is a watch-cat for your computer. It comes with two infrared sensors to help alert any intruders by shaking its head and producing many different sounds. Helpful perhaps in warning people to leave your PC alone when you’re away for a bathroom break.

SmartPen: the newest gadget/gizmo for gadgetswhore and college students.
Inventor Markets 'Smart' Pen to College Students
A smart pen unveiled Wednesday at a digital-technology conference in Carlsbad, Calif., isn't even on the market yet, but Rodney Brooks, director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is already hailing its potential to change the way people process information, according to an article in The New York Times. The pen, which looks like an ordinary ballpoint, is embedded with a computer that photographs whatever is being written. The pen is also equipped with a microphone that records what is being spoken, so that people using the pen to take notes can later play back the recording and elaborate on their notes. In a docking station, the pen can transfer files to and from a PC. Jim Marggraff, inventor of the device, says he plans to market the pen for less than $200 to college students in the fall.

I think this gadget is so expensive and at the same time hassle. It will tolerate lazy and apathetic students. However, this will make the life of college students easy.

i so love Grey's anatomy.
So, I decided to surf the net and post some of my favorite characters here.
Meredith Grey
She is a surgical resident and her mother is Ellis Grey. Her father remarried. Her half sister, Lexie, interns at the hospital. She used to share a dog with Derek, Doc. She attended Dartmouth University. She snores very loudly (according to Derek). She had a near death experience, which Derek saved her from. Her mother died of Alzheimer's. She's so in love with McDreamy. Also, has had sex with MANY guys! One of them was Steve, and she "broke" his penis. She also had sad-sex with George.
Key episodes:
316. Drowning on Dry Land
317. Some kind of miracle
319. My favorite mistake
Medical specialty: Undecided at Rotation stage.
Relationship roller coaster:
She dated and fell in love with Derek until she found out he was married. She gave the "pick me, choose me, love me" speech but he chose his wife anyways. She harbored feelings for him while pursuing relations with others including Steve, George, and Finn (McVet). She slept with Derek at the prom, while she was there with Finn and was left with a choice to make. She decided she would date both of them but ultimately chose Derek. Derek and Meredith were in a happily ever after until the broke-up in Season 4. Then they decided to go S & M, which didn't work, so now she is in therapy.
Secret?
Is very "dark and twisty".
In season 1 she kept the secret of her mothers Alzheimer's but eventually told Derek.
Defining moments:
"pick me. choose me. love me"
Characteristic quotes:
- "Okay, here it is, your choice... it's simple, her or me, and I'm sure she is really great. But Derek, I love you, in a really, really big pretend to like your taste of music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake, hold a radio over my head outside your window, unfortunate way that makes me hate you, love you. So pick me, choose me, love me."
- [to Christina] "You're in a relationship without words." [to Izzie] "And you're a millionaire in twenty dollar shoes. Whatever!"
- "We are left with a choice. Either let the guilt throw you back into the behavior that got you into trouble in the first place, or learn from the guilt and do your best to move on."
- Mark: How's my favorite dirty mistress?
- "Maybe we like the pain. Maybe we're wired that way. Because without it, I don't know; maybe we just wouldn't feel real. What's that saying? Why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels so good when I stop."
- "Lets play a game of 'who's life sucks the most?'. I'll win, i always win"
