The movie was really amazing and surprising. It showcases the different phases in human life from new born baby to old age. The documentary features how the human body evolve and how it stops in evolving. Human body have it's limitation, and it change rapidly. Time to time our body change and some of it's internal parts are destroyed by our lifestyle. Exercise is not enough, we must eat the right foods and live a good lifestyle for us to maintain our body in good shape and to avoid diseases. :D

-Another confusing day! (I hate this part! sorry i can't tell you why it's confusing!)

It’s so early in the morning and I still feel a ‘lil bit of sleepy but I have to wake up and go to school. I start hating school because it gives me a lot of stressful work, assignments and requirements. Teachers are not considerable enough to extend deadlines and etc. sigh* Still life must go on! Anyways, after my first class which starts at 7.30am and ends at 8.45 I felt a heartrending because of the scores I got from my midterm exam in zoology. It was a bit disappointing for my part ‘coz I didn’t expect that score. My badL

I need to study hard and break a leg for these upcoming FINALS. I just hope that I could make “BAWI” pa! I still hope that I could make it J

It's been so long since I post something new for my blog, so here I am writing again.

I missed writing and updating my blog. Ilang months na ako hindi nagbloblog! miss ko na 'tong blog na to! Anyways, I was so busy these past few months because of my midterm exams and requirements. 3 nga lang ang exam ko pero ang dami ko namang requirements! I’m starting to learn Flash CS3 all alone with the help of the internet tutorials. Ang hirap mag self learning.. sobra! Nakakafrustrate paminsan pag hnd mo nagegets ang tutorials... huhu:((

Sa first day ng shoot, ang hirap-hirap dahil sa mga amateurs palang kame hindi pa namin alam paano talaga ang eksena pagdating sa field. It was my 18^th birthday today, I didn't expect anything because I know that, this day would be just an ordinary day. I woke up around 9.15 am, by my surprised aunt Tita, gave me her present and I was so happy at the same time I feel strange. I dunno why I feel strange at my very special day, suddenly I realized that I miss HIM, and apparently thats make me lonely. As the day goes by, people started greeting me and some of my friends gave me gifts like nanai(my nanay), tinapay and my 2 parents. This day might not be so extravagant like what others expect it to be but for me as the birthday celebrant, I really feel glad that I have this people whom I can count on and be with regardless of my my childish attitude and my tantrums. I thanked God for everything.

1. Look at the general appearance of the merchandise. It should look good, especially if you think that the price the seller is asking for is a bit high.

2. Looks can be deceiving. Test out the merchandise in question. Make sure that it still does what it was designed to do. If possible, “burn it in” and no, it doesn’t mean that you need to put it in an oven for testing. It simply means that you should test it for a long period of time (not just for a few minutes). It should still work even if it is left running for a few hours.

3. Check for completeness. Most, if not all, bundled accessories and peripherals should be included with the merchandise. Stolen gadgets are often sold as “unit only” and buying them will make you liable under the Anti-fencing law.

4. Buy from reputable sellers and if possible, someone you personally know. Should anything goes very wrong with your purchase, you should be able to easily get in touch the seller.

5. And lastly, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Make sure that you know what you are getting into when buying pre-owned gadgets. Make sure that you really need it and there is a need for it. Look at the price. If the price of the pre-owned item is not too far off the price of a brand new one, save up and get the brand new stuff!

These are just a few tips. I will follow this entry up with particular things to look for when buying specific gadgets. Till then, happy shopping and don’t spend that bonus in one big splurge!

Inventor Markets 'Smart' Pen to College Students

A smart pen unveiled Wednesday at a digital-technology conference in Carlsbad, Calif., isn't even on the market yet, but Rodney Brooks, director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is already hailing its potential to change the way people process information, according to an article in The New York Times. The pen, which looks like an ordinary ballpoint, is embedded with a computer that photographs whatever is being written. The pen is also equipped with a microphone that records what is being spoken, so that people using the pen to take notes can later play back the recording and elaborate on their notes. In a docking station, the pen can transfer files to and from a PC. Jim Marggraff, inventor of the device, says he plans to market the pen for less than $200 to college students in the fall.

Last july 5 08.

I was home alone and boredom strikes me. I was planning to txt my closest frens to invite them at my haus but suddendly I changed my mind. So instead, I went to my mami's room and see what can i get there. I opened her closet and found some retro blouses.

hmmm!!!

So, the next thing i knew is that i am wearing that retro blouse and i just realized that it was cool wearing it. hehe;))

I saw a 80's inspired shade of my mami and try it.! haha;) it soo cool! The moment I glanced at the mirror, all i can say is wth*?

Dearest,

We are leaving in the 21^st century and we, people should be constant vigilant in what was happening in our environment. We should put more attention to our so called “EARTH” where we stay, enjoy and spend the most out of our life.

As time pass by, there are a lot of changes that takes place and we cannot blame each other for what we can see around us like garbage, pollutants, dirty canals, rivers and lakes. We are responsible for this whether we deny it or not. The clean “EARTH” was turn out now to a “DIRTY EARTH”. I want to address this problem not only for the sake of addressing it but to correct what is WRONG. We should start to be aware of the consequences when earth will totally takes it revenge.

Let us define what is GLOBAL WARMING.

Global Warming means Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-twentieth century and its projected continuation.

The term "global warming" is a specific example of global climate change. The term "climate change" can also refer to other periods of overall temperature change such as global cooling. In common usage, the term "global warming" refers to the warming in recent decades and its projected continuation, and implies a human influence.

Here are some signs of Global Warming:

Heat waves and periods of unusually warm weather

Ocean warming, sea-level rise and coastal flooding

Glaciers melting

Arctic and Antarctic warming

Spreading disease

Earlier spring arrival

As a student here are some things that i will contribute to help save the earth. This are only simple but little things later on will be big things too.

1. Turn off the computer when it is not in use.
2. off the lights when it is not being use.
3. Learn to conserve electricity.
4. Pay attention to how you use water. The little things can make a big difference. Every time you turn off the water while you're brushing your teeth, you're doing something good.
5. Recycle.You can help reduce pollution just by putting that soda can in a different bin. If you're trying to choose between two products, pick the one with the least packaging. If an office building of 7,000 workers recycled all of its office paper waste for a year, it would be the equivalent of taking almost 400 cars off the road [Source: EPA].
6. Compost. Think about how much trash you make in a year. Reducing the amount of solid waste you produce in a year means taking up less space in landfills, so your tax dollars can work somewhere else. Plus, compost makes a great natural fertilizer. Composting is easier than you think.

University signature represents their seal.
De La Salle University is the most visible identification of the university. It is made up of two elements, the DLSU logo and the DLSU logotype.

The DLSU Logo

The logo of De La Salle University has the following parts:

The five pointed star at the center is the Signum Fidei star. It is the sign of faith and is the symbol of the La Salle Brothers ( Fraternum Scholarum Christianarum). The star also means hope. The five points, bisected into green and white areas, represent benevolence, civility , humanitarianism, service-oriented goals, and scientific pursuit.
The two fronds of laurel are the Gloria Et Honor Laurel. They signify inspiration for quality education.
The motto 'Religio, Mores, Cultura' in Futura Bold typeface, surmounts the star and the laurel leaves forming an arch.
The name 'De La Salle University' in Futura Bold typeface, serves as a border around the upper portion of the seal.
The word 'Manila' in white Futura Bold typeface is carried at the bottom of the seal.

Why Green and White?

According to the De La Salle University Institutional Identification Manual, Department of Communication, College of Liberal Arts, De La Salle University.

"The maiden issue of the student publication that came out in August 1924 was called "Green and White" which originated from the national colors of Ireland, (the "Emerald Isles" where the founding fathers of the De La Salle Brothers in the Philippines came from) and, of course, the Philippines ("Pearl of the Orient Seas", that is "pearly white").

Before 1939, the high school team took the nickname the "Greenies" (G&W 1938), following the school's colors.

The first Archer symbol appeared in the 1940 G&W, and the Sports Section featured articles covering the NCAA games of the 1939-1940 season, wherein our famous basketball players were referred to as the "Green Archers."

The 1941 G&W featured a photo of four graders who formed the original (first) Green Archers Cheer Squad.

The Green Archer, statue, now standing at the Chess Plaza, was done by Ed Castrillo in 1985, as commissioned by Class 1966 under the leadership of Muniosguren. It was first exhibited during the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee in 1986. The pedestal was transfered to its present location in 1992".

The university logotype is 'De La Salle University'.

It uses the typeface Galliard, 90 % condensed, normal tracking. This particular typeface projects stability, quiet authority and dignity. It should be used whenever the logotype of the university signature is to be reproduced. The DLSU logo may appear without the logotype. However, the logotype should never be used without the logo. It should always appear together with the logo unless it is used as part of a text.

Color Standard

Color is an important factor in maintaining the uniformity and consistency of the university signature. The university signature may be reproduced in either color or black and white renditions according to various requirements. However, only the colors specified in this portion can be applied to the university signature. The colors of the university signature are Green Pantone 355U, Gold and Black 100%.
